Product Description
Your students will love this fast-paced team game!

The goal for students is be the first team where every team member has a correctly graphed equation. In doing so, students get many opportunities to practice graphing, as well as orally explaining to other students how to graph. In this game, all students are held accountable by their teammates to complete their work.

Students sit in teams. I recommend teams sit in columns so it is clear who is on their team but teammates cannot see each others' papers. This forces them to use academic vocabulary to explain how to graph rather than just showing their teammate what to draw.

Each student has a paper with four quadrant graphs already set up (included).

When ready, the teacher projects an equation (pdf and powerpoint slides included). Each student begins individually graphing the equation.

As soon as a student has completed their graph, they must leave everything at their desk and go help one of their teammates complete their graph.

When a team is done, they need to bring all their graphs to the teacher to check. If they are all correct, they win! If not, hand the stack back so they can figure out their mistake.

Decide as the teacher if you want the other teams to finish, or reveal the correct answer (and maybe quickly demonstrate for those who were unable to graph it) and move on to the next equation.
