This foldable is a contains five panels. Guided notes are on the left and right and practice problems are in the middle. It is a perfect introduction to distinguishing between equations and inequalities. It also helps the student use test points to find out if certain points on a graph are in the solution set for the inequality. First guide the students through the notes on the left side to get a grasp of linear equations and what they look like. Second let them do the practice problems with solving each linear equation at a given value (should take about 10 mins). Thirdly go over the guided notes on the right side for linear inequalities. Then let them practice the problems using a test point to discover if the point is a solution. Lastly let the class fill you in on whether or not the graphs in the middle are equations or inequalities. It folds up into fifths or can be folded like a pantry with two opening doors. Be sure to label the outside.
