This circuit worksheet consists of 3 parts:
Part 1: Write an algebraic expression to represent the given verbal expression (10 questions)
Part 2: Solve linear equations involving fractions (16 questions)
Part 3: Solve literal equations for a specified variable (10 questions)
This is a great review activity. You can use all three parts in one activity or separate the parts and do one at a time. You can use this as a class activity or assign as a homework assignment. This is also great to use as a sub plan!
Circuit worksheet is an alternative to Scavenger Hunt that I do with my students. It is easier to manage with a large class (a class of 30 students) but still keep students engaged!
Circuit worksheets are one of the favorites in my class. Students love the self-check aspect of the worksheet. In each circuit, the problems become progressively more difficult so it is great for differentiated instruction.
There are no answer keys included in my circuits since the answers are embedded in the circuit. The only prep you have to do as a teacher is to work the circuit ahead so you understand the idea of the circuit worksheet.
