Linear Graphs & Equations in 3 forms
Students will match 12 sets from 60 cards.
i) linear graphs that clearly show four points including A & B which are always the x- and y-intercepts, and also the vertices of the slope triangle shown, and C & D which are not intercepts and used in the point-slope equation of the line.
The four other cards that create a set are a
ii) table of the points A, B, C, and D
iii) point-slope equations using points C & D
iv) slope-intercept equations
v) standard equations, which also encourage students to think about intercepts when using this form.
