Algebra that Functions
Linear Functions Match the Equation, Slope, and y-intercept to the Graph
Do you want your students to be proficient at finding the slope, y-intercept, and equation for a linear function from a graph? My Linear Functions Match the Equation, Slope, and y-intercept to the Graph product is your solution. Students are given graphs of linear functions and an answer bank to use to help them accurately record the slope, y-intercept and slope-intercept equation for each graph. Some of the equations in the answer bank are written in standard form and some are written in slope-intercept form, providing students with opportunities to work with both forms of the linear equations.
My students have great success with this activity and become proficient at finding slope, y-intercepts, and equations of linear equations, and they really enjoy this activity!
