Linear Inequalities Card Match with Notes
Students will match 24 linear inequalities (Level 1: 12 Slope-Intercept Form, Level 2: 12 Standard Form) with graphs.
Students will check the slope of the line, y-intercept, solid vs. dashed lines, and shading above vs. below the line to determine a match. Student-friendly notes included.
This resource reinforces the subtle differences in the graphs resulting from different inequality symbols. Cards are separated into two levels to allow for differentiated lessons. 12 of the 24 inequalities requires students to rewrite the inequality from standard to slope-intercept form, some requiring a "flip" in the inequality symbol when solving. Works well as partner practice, math centers and/or extra credit. Printing on cardstock and laminating is recommended for extended use as task cards. :)
