This interactive game will help students make a strong connection between the slope y-intercept equation for a line and its graph. (Expressing geometric properties with equations.)

Analytic geometry is best grasped dynamically!
This has proved very effective in helping students grasp the graphical effect of a negative, positive, or zero slope value.

Learners are engaged through a video game style Geometer's Sketchpad activity. They must adjust the slope (m) and y-intercept (b) to aim their bazooka at the target.
I give students two detonations per turn, as the learning hinges on how they correct their first attempt at the target by adjusting the m and b values.

You can project this on a screen and play as a class, or have students play individually in a computer lab.
