The game is played like Go Fish and gets students to match up linear relationships using slopes, y-intercepts, graphs, tables, and equations. Students love playing this game. It is a great way to check their understanding as they use different strategies to make matches. Students correct each other as the matches are made creating great math conversations. This game is best used once they have a good understanding of proportional relationships and interpreting unit rate as slope.
Along with the playing cards and box, instruction sheets and blank cards are included.
Tip: Print decks of cards on cardstock in different colors to keep them separated as the kiddos play. Things get exciting!
