When students are absent or need to have a copy of teacher's notes for their IEP I used to stumble about and then quickly scribble something and hand it to them. But then I thought, why not organize my notes before hand in an easy to comprehend way.
Using the Cornell-style double entry system I have created notes for many concepts. This product has 17 pages of notes to help you and your students with both proportional and non-proportional linear relationships and all their representations. The 17 pages are as follows:
Page 1: Basic Graph Vocabulary
Page 2: Graphing Concepts: The Origin and Dependent vs. Independent Variables
Page 3: Types of Slope
Page 4: Slope Man
Page 5: Words that mean Slope: Rate of Change, Constant of Proportionality
Page 6: Constant of Proportionality
Page 7: Rate of Change Vocabulary
Page 8: Finding Rate of Change from a Table
Page 9: Finding Rate of Change from a Graph
Page 10: Making a Table from an Equation
Page 11: Proportional vs. Non-Proportional Relationships (thumbnail)
Page 12: They Y-Intercept
Page 13: Characteristics of Non-Proportional Relationships (thumbnail)
