This is a double-sided practice page over linear transformations intended to be used with my Linear Transformations Notes. The first four questions give the student two graphed lines and asks them to find the slope and y-intercept of each one and then compare. Specifically they are asked how the slope changes from line f to g and how the y-intercept changes from line f to g.
Questions 5 and 6 give the student the equation of a line and then a transformation such as "the line is translated up 2 units" and then the student is asked to write the equation of the new line. Questions 7 through 10 give the student an equation of a line and a transformation. The student is asked to graph the new line and then describe how the lines are similar and different.
Finally, questions 11 through 14, the student is given the equation of two lines and asked to describe how the two lines compare. All equations are written in slope-intercept form. 14 questions total. Key included.
