This product includes 3 versions of the same type of word problem. The word problem consists of two friends, one whom saves money and the other whom spends money. In the problem, the one that saves ends with more money than the one who spends.
A table is completed to show how much the friends have each day, and the daily points are graphed on a graph. Reflective questions about the y-intercepts and slopes are provided as well.
The three versions allows the teacher to give this as a quiz, use one to model with, have the students work on different problems during class, etc.
