Linear and Exponential Regression Activity is an activity to check kids understanding of linear and exponential regression models in the graphing calculator. Basically, they are solving the problems by identifying if the scatterplot is linear or exponential then writing the regression equation. They then searching around the room or hall for the answer. Just a different way to do a worksheet! Allows for instant assessment on if they are completing the work correctly.
This is intended after they have been taught to do linear and exponential regression models. 16 questions in all! I also added 6 distractor letters/cards. They are the last 6 in the file and are letters that are included in the joke so they can not just copy them down if they know the joke.
Students will solve a problem (or more) then look for the answer on the paper hanging up. They then write the letter or word down next to that number. At the end, they will spell the answer to the joke. Prepare yourself for uproarious laughter (not really) : )
File includes the student worksheet, the answer key, and the printables to hang around the room/hall. The printables need to be cut in half and mixed up when hung up.
