Linear and Quadratic Transformations Discovery Activity
This is a one-page discovery activity in chart format. The student uses a graphing calculator, types in the examples and compares and contrasts transformations of the linear parent function to the quadratic parent function. Transformations include shifting up, down, flipping over the x-axis and multiplying the x or x^2 by a number larger than one and in between 0 and 1. They fill in their conclusions in the middle section of the chart. Key included.
All of my resources are color-coded by topic. To find more resources on Quadratics please return to my store and look for the royal blue background or choose the Quadratics
