These cards include lines, segments, rays, parallel lines, perpendicular lines, intersecting lines, right angles, obtuse angles, acute angles, and straight angles. There are 4 cards for each type. I print these on bright colored paper, cut, and laminate. (I make 5 sets of every card game I use. I print each set on a different colored paper. So if groups are playing close to each other, they won’t get the card sets mixed up.) You may use all cards, or separate them out and use only the lines or only the angles. There is a variety of things you can do with these cards.
Ideas for how to play:
1. Fish – I’ve included the instructions for this traditional game
2. Sort – Have students sort into the different categories
3. Flash cards – Use them as flash cards to review each type of line or angle
I hope these are a fun, interactive way to review these geometry skills!
