This pack includes:
>20 Task Cards: Students need to both draw and name the number of lines of symmetry a given 2D shape has. A recording page and answer key is included.
>A one page open-ended practice page allows for students to search around your classroom for objects with lines of symmetry. They identify an object and the type of polygon that object is (square, rectangle, parallelogram, octagon, etc.), sketch the object and then draw in all the lines of symmetry. Last, they record the actual number of lines of symmetry they find. It gets students up and moving and can be great for a sub day, early finisher work, or extension activity.
>A simple reference poster is include to provide students with help if you choose to use these cards or practice page as a station or center.
