This is a twist on the classic "dots game" (remember, the one where you try to complete the square?), with a word between each dot pair. Give a synonym, definition, or the past tense of the word as you cross through it (among other tasks), and try to complete more squares than your opponent!
This activity is for your higher-level language students who can read. One of each of the following language/grammar concepts is included:
-Categories (convergent and divergent)
-Definitions (Tier 2 vocabulary words)
-Regular & Irregular past tense
-Regular/Irregular plurals (mixed)
This is a sampling from a larger pack to come--get it before it increases in price! Don't be fooled by the small number of pages--there are TONS of targets packed into a tiny space! Perfect for pre/post testing, progress monitoring, and homework. Play one-on-one or in small groups. NO color ink or prep work required, just hit print and you're on your way!
