This curriculum is IPA-based, ready to be implemented in classroom instruction. I recommend it to be taught by native English speakers.
I have used this curriculum in my classes as a 15 minute portion of a 50 minute class. I have also used it for individualized tutoring in ESL, EFL, & accent reduction for speakers from a variety of world languages (Spanish, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, etc.).
Notes regarding the author:
I have a background in teaching foreign language, including English as a Second Language. I have used and continued to develop this curriculum since 2007.
I have presented this curriculum at the annual ACTFL conference. I have also presented at NABE and other conferences as well.
I am currently working on a master’s degree in linguistics at the University at Buffalo. Since I am in graduate school full-time, I am posting materials on TPT in order to try and supplement my income.
