Grab your binoculars and go on a safari to see some linking verbs! Go along with Cindy and Gene the Giraffe as they search for linking verbs in a fun and engaging way! Cindy will guide you through a lesson on identifying linking verbs and what linking verbs connect to in the predicate. All topics include practice questions. Your students will love to use their whiteboards to answer the practice questions! This is also a great check for understanding for the teacher to see who is on track and who might need more practice. For even more fun, students could bring in play binoculars or make some out of a paper towel roll!
