If you have ever played with Oobleck, you know how great it really is! Your students will love getting their fingers into this awesome mystery substance! It is neither quite a liquid or a solid and therefore behaves in fascinating ways. It is incredibly easy to create and it also makes for some excellent scientific exploration! One of my favorite things about this activity is that it can be adapted to any grade level and can be used in units in science as well as in reading/language arts, due to its origin in the Bartholomew and the Oobleck book by Dr. Seuss.
