Listen and Draw Follow Directions Activity

Description
Listen & Draw is great activity to include with your plans at the beginning of the year when you are teaching class procedures. It helps students practice important listen and follow directions skills. Students will practice positional words and following oral directions with this listening activity. Students will listen to the verbal directions and then draw and color. These activities help students learn to focus and practice active listening. Other Listen and Draw lessons are being used by parents, classroom teachers, SLP for speech therapy target, music teachers, counselors, ESL and ELL teachers. Data collected from these lessons are used for portfolios, RTI, and conferences. Some teachers have included these in their sub plans, use as an inside recess activity, or a Drop Everything and Draw activity.
