No-prep, meaningful listening center response sheets to accompany Scholastic Listening Library's March 1st Grade Listening Library (23S7). Two response sheets per book, an initial letter word search and writing response prompt are provided for: Red: A Crayon's Story; Click, Clack, Peep!, and No, No, Gnome!
The best part of this product is by far the directions via audio QR codes. Students simply scan the QR code to hear me reading the directions. This is a game changing for amping up your listening center while increasing student independence! Kinders and firsties will be able to independently begin on the work without having to interrupt small group time. Each book comes with two similar activities. Each book has an initial letter search during which students go back through the story to find and write letters that begin with the initial letters comprising the title. Each book also has a meaningful writing response in which students draw, label, and write. Great for Daily 5, enrichment, and early finisher work.
Don't use Scholastic Books on CD? No problem! If these are read alouds you use, place these response sheets into your word work or writing center for independent reading response centers!
*Please note, the QR code directs your students to directions read aloud to be able to independently complete the center, but it does NOT direct your student to a recording of the book.
