“What Do You Hear?”
Listening is a life skill. This activity is not just for Music Teachers. Why not break up those traditional Listening drills, Classroom Teachers with a little music? As your students listen to a song or a composition they cross out the Instrument Families they hear.
Three different versions of this Listening Activity are provided to help accommodate the different levels of learners.
Version 1: Picture Graph with the written names of the Instrument Families for each question.
Version2: Picture Graph with the written names of the Instrument Families at the Top of the Page ONLY. Each question only has the written names of each Instrument Family. If the student needs a reminder, he/she may refer to the Picture Graph at the Top of the Page.
Version 3: Only the written names of the Instrument Families for each question. No Picture Graphs on the sheet.
