Elementary Music Listening activity and Elementary Music Lesson Plans to help students discover how music moves high and low, stays the same, while also changing tempo.

This elementary music activity covers several of the standards for elementary music while encouraging higher levels of thinking skills (Blooms Taxonomy).

I think this is my favorite activity of all time. The music, “Three Rides in the Park,” is from MacMillan’s Share the Music series. This is the best way I’ve found for students to not only experience through movement melodic and tempo changes but also form.

Elementary Music Lesson Plans, worksheets, rubric, and suggestions for using this in your teacher evaluation.

I used this activity many times during observations/evaluations. Admin were very impressed and loved it.
