These activities are great ways to help extend the Listening Center. The fist two are story specific while the last three slides are generic. "Footprints in the Snow" and "Where the Wild Things Are" can be used for creative writing and matching illustrations to print. The final three slides are set up more like thinking maps/graphic organizers and can be used with almost any story. The beginning, middle, end can be used with pictures, pictures and words or words only to describe the sequence of events in only three parts. The last two work well with pictures and labels. The child draws a picture related to the word in the middle circle and labels it.
