A glyph is a representation of data in picture form. In these worksheets, students are asked to color different parts of the picture depending on what they are hearing from the music.
These glyphs are designed with specific musicals in mind. Two pieces from 5 different musicals are represented. There are a variety of levels included, each with 3-4 things to listen for, including fast/slow, loud/soft, staccato/legato, various instruments, etc. Unfortunately, due to copyright laws, the music is not included.
Listening glyphs included for:
"Follow the Yellow Brick Road/We're Off to See the Wizard" from The Wizard of Oz
"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from The Wizard of Oz
"The Circle of Life" from The Lion King
"Hakuna Matata" from The Lion King
"The Sound of Music" from The Sound of Music
"My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music
"Tomorrow" from Annie
"You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile" from Annie
"A Spoonful of Sugar" from Mary Poppins
"Let's Go Fly a Kite" from Mary Poppins
Please rate and review - it's really important to me! Thanks!
