*A follow-up to my first set of listening glyphs for musicals!*
A glyph is a representation of data in picture form. In these worksheets, students are asked to color different parts of the picture depending on what they are hearing from the music.
These glyphs are designed with specific musicals in mind. Ten different pieces are included from ten different musicals, odd and new. There are a variety of levels included, each with 3-4 things to listen for, including fast/slow, loud/soft, staccato/legato, various instruments, etc. Unfortunately, due to copyright laws, the music is not included.
Listening glyphs included for:
"Pure Imagination" from Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka
"Seventy-Six Trombones" from The Music Man
"Overture" from Newsies
"Singin' in the Rain" from "Singin' in the Rain"
"Overture" from Phantom of the Opera
"The Preamble" from School House Rock Live!
"Popular" from Wicked
"It's Possible (McElligot's Pool) from Seussical
"Put on a Happy Face" from Bye Bye Birdie
"Oh, What a Beautiful Morning" from Oklahoma!
Please rate and review - it's really important to me! Thanks!
