Learn Place Value! Students must listen as you read numbers... big numbers! Improve listening skills as you teach place value! You read numbers aloud as your students write the numbers on a place value chart. Listening is important as you only say the number once. This page is placed in a sheet protector and students use dry erase markers to write the numbers. Easily used many times as they erase the number and write the next number. Excellent activity to improve listening and understanding place value. Teacher directions are included. Two pages are included; one with a border and one without a border. Easy to correct. Appropriate for grades 2-5.
You can use this as a whole class activity or small group. It is also easily adapted for diversified instruction as you determine the numbers your students are to write.
