Students will practice giving interviews with precision (listening much more than talking). Interviewers will choose three of five thought-provoking questions found on their worksheets to ask during the interview. Directions will be followed closely during the interview in order to get information from the interviewee accurately.
The last part of this lesson will be to share with the class information on their classmates—but not orally. Each student will do a short write-up on the person they interviewed choosing a page design. These stories can be shared and enjoyed by the class if they are displayed in the hallway or classroom.
In this lesson you get:
--interview double-sided worksheet
--'indoor voice' 60-second practice
--five write-up designs
