Everything you need for efficient guided and strategic groups, data tracking, and reporting for standards based grading. These are the same pages that I use in my classroom each day. The planning pages help me use my time efficiently in small groups and be sure that I see each student as often as possible. Each page is three-hole punched and placed behind dividers in my binder.
-Running Records Form
-Reading Level Tracker
-Student Engagement Data
-Individual Student Tabs:
One of my favorite pages is the Teacher-Student Interaction tracking page, as I get to record how I know student progress. For example, I observe partners talking about reading but don’t interact; it still tells me how they are doing with skills. I record that on my page as an O-observation.
The Student Engagement Data page is great for seeing who needs help with motivation, getting the “right-fit” books as well as increasing engagement. I use the first few minutes of a literacy block or during a transition to observe students who may fit one of the categories. This helps me plan strategic groups and additional conferencing to increase student productivity and progress.
