Multiple Meaning words are words that sound the same, and are spelled the same. They are both homonyms (have the same sound) and homographs (have the same spelling). Example: bat (flying mammal)and bat (object used to hit a ball)
This fun literacy center has cute bunny graphics (from The 3 AM Teacher) and pleasing pictures designed to keep your students' interest as they work,. This learning center is designed to provide hands on learning about multiple meaning words or Homonyms/Homographs.
Students will match pictures depicting words that have very different meanings but sound the same and are spelled the same. This is a fun way to learn about the multiple meanings of words.
