Having trouble figuring out how to organize your rotations for Reader's Workshop or Daily 5? This game board takes out the hours of planning. Students will cross out which stations they go to each day. Before each switch, I call out which students are coming back to guided reading with me. Then, I use popsicle sticks with their names to call students to choose where they'd like to go next.
This creates a more positive and motivated environment by allowing students to have a choice in which centers they'd like to go to each day while monitoring how many times they go to the center each week. This format is based off of having 3 rotations per day in a 5 day week. To add more center choices, merely add another row to the table. Insert the picture of your choice (make sure to size it down properly and set it to "tight" fit with the layout options first.)
