This file is something I am using in my kindergarten classroom to organize my literacy centers! I have six color groups and six centers that my students go to. We do three each day! It allows for me and my assistant teacher to differentiate our instruction and give more one-on-one help to the students, as well as give them independence practicing important skills for reading and writing!
This is what I've included:
+ Six Group Signs- each with a designated color. You can write their names on the signs or create stickers to put on the signs for easy switching.
+ Six Center Signs- each with a designated SHAPE. They all work to target specific aspects of literacy primary students need to practice! I've included full page and half page signs.
+ Center Chart- it is a suggested setup you can print out and use as your teacher copy or to blow up and hang on your classroom wall!
+ Guided Reading Tools- A guided reading planning sheet to aid you in differentiating your GR lessons. A Guided Reading recording sheet so you can quickly jot down some notes about each session, what you worked on, etc.
I will be expanding this file to include different center signs for you! So check back soon for an updated download! If you have a specific center in mind, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will happily make it for you!
