Sentence Building Center

There are 20 sentences that students can make by arranging word cards. An answer card with a picture is included for differentiating.

Read and Draw Center

This center is great for checking to see if students understand what they're reading. Laminate the pages and put them at a center with dry erase markers. Students read the instructions and draw a picture.

Beginning & Ending Sounds Center (Digital Version Included)

This center comes with CVC cards and students write the beginning and ending sounds to create simple words using dry erase markers.

Word Families Strips (Digital Version Included)

Students can use these strips with dry erase markers to make both short and long vowel word families.

CVCe Words Activities

This packet comes with 2 activities - one where students add just the "e" at the end and match the word to a picture and one where students add the missing vowel and the e and then write the words they have created.

Punctuation Literacy Center (Digital Version Included)

This literacy center can help students identify, complete and write statements, questions, and exclamations. There are two versions of the center so you can differentiate.

Partner/Buddy Reading Activity Cards (Digital Version Included)

This center is great for "Read to Someone" time. Alternating sentences are in different colors so students know which lines to read aloud.

Writing Prompts (K - 1)

You can put these writing prompts at your writing center for students to use independently. It also comes with a simple Writing Checklist.

Insects Literacy Activities - This nonfiction center comes with a reader and easy comprehension questions, blank writing papers (for simple research projects), blank jot note cards, a butterfly life cycle writing assignment, and a word search.

Sequence of Events Cut & Paste Center (Reading & Retelling Short Passages)

This literacy center can help students develop reading and retelling skills. Students read the passages and order the events by cutting and pasting them into the correct sequence.

Making Inferences - Board Game & Worksheets

Use this fun game & these simple reading comprehension passages to help your students make inferences and give evidence for their answers.

⭐ Bonus Activity: Compound Words

Students put two word cards together to create a compound word underneath each picture.
