Description

Make your literature circle more fun with this fun original story complete with worksheets that correlate to the common core language arts standards. This 26 page book was illustrated by Jim Corcoran, an award winning artist from Toledo, Ohio. The story is designed to be read aloud, or used for guided reading. "The Great Pickle Panic" is written on a 2.3 reading level as determined by Okapi Readability. This allows the story to be used by high reading first graders, average second grade readers, and struggling third grade students.

Useful for 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade readers!

The Unit includes:

A 26 page full color illustrated story.

22 different worksheets between the levels of first and third grade, which allows teachers to differentiate their teaching as needed. Worksheets include graphic organizers, vocabulary sheet, syllables, writing opportunities, poetry, word work, contractions and long and short vowel work.
