Turkey Center Literacy Games: Print, laminate and cut all cards and pieces to the centers.
Turkey Rhyming Match Game: Children match the pictures the pictures on the turkeys that rhyme. It can be used as a memory game with a partner or small group or children can just a match the rhyming pictures.
Turkey Make a Word Game: Children take a feather (consonant & consonant blends are provided) and put it in front of a word chunk turkey to make a word. Children can write word on paper or white board, I have included 8 worksheets to go with this activity.
Turkey Real & Nonsense Words: Children place cards face down and take turns drawing a card. Child reads words and decides whether it is a real word or nonsense words. Student checks with partner or group to make sure he/she is accurate. Child writes words on t-chart on white board or use sheet provided in this resource (each student may have a sheet or you could use one sheet for the whole game). The next person takes a turn. Play until all cards have been used.
Turkey Picture (CVC) & Word Match Game: Children can play in partners, small group or by self matching the pilgrim hat picture with the word on the turkey. Children place the hat on the turkey’s head when they have a match.. You can choose certain vowel sounds in the game or use all cards at once. There is one blank hat page and one blank turkey page to make your own cards.

Turkey Feather Number Match Game: Children place the number of turkey feathers to match the turkey’s numeral . Children place the number of turkey feathers to match the turkeys number word.
Turkey Addition Facts Clip Game (0-10) Children read the addition number sentence and find the sum of the two numbers. Children place a paper clip or clothes pin to the correct answer of the number sentence. There is a group of sums 0-5 cards and a group of sums 6-10 cards. There is one blank hat page to make your own cards.
Turkey 5 In A Row: Children roll 2 dice and cover the sum. If the sum is not open, it is their partners turn. The person who covers 5 in a row first wins! The turkey in the middle is a free space!
Turkey Roll & Cover: (2 different games) One Dice Roll: Roll one die and count your dots. Cover the number of dots you rolled with your marker. Two players will need to use two different colors. Covering the most numbers wins!
