This mini unit provides one writing task that can be published into a class book. Use the included page from the complete book as an introduction to the task and as a model text.
About the book page:
One page from the complete book is included. Students can be Sherlock as they read the teacher-authored-and-illustrated page from the book titled “Riddles to Behold.” Use the clues in the riddle to determine what the mystery answer is! Watch as students witness the magical transforming page - you’ll love their reaction! They will be in awe while they learn how to make predictions and identify the main idea and details. Furthermore, the text on the page goes to the tune “London Bridge is Falling Down.”
