Description
About the unit:
This unit provides dozens of micro tasks to assist students with writing and academic success. Use the books from the Book Bundle as an introduction this this unit and as model texts. The unit can be used as an independently themed unit (e.g. riddles, optical illusion, magic and/or tricks) or divided up based on other curriculum topics (e.g. animals, plants, weather).
About the book:
Students can be Sherlock as they read the teacher-authored-and-illustrated book titled “Riddles to Behold.” Use the clues in each riddle to determine what the mystery answer is! Watch as students witness the magical transforming pages - you’ll love their reaction! They will be in awe while they learn how to make predictions and identify the main idea and details. Furthermore, the text in this book goes to the tune “London Bridge is Falling Down.”
