This file includes a 77 page guide to teaching literary analysis through the use of interactive literary stations.The specific focus of the stations activity is to analyze how plot, setting, character, conflict, figurative language, and symbolism are used to reveal the theme of an assigned text. The answer key/model of completed stations tasks is based on the text of "Scared to Death" by Sharon Flake. The intent is to model sample completion though the guide, but this plan is intended to be used with any text the teacher assigns. Additionally, teaching extras including exit tickets, rubrics (specific completion and content), and a section of implementation tips including a detailed guide to grouping students.
