Product Description
This group activity, allows students to put a literary character on trial. Using evidence from the novel, students will find their chosen character, Guilty or Not Guilty of the "crime" committed.

You can use this format to prove a character's innocence or guilt. For example, is Antigone guilty of her brother's burial? Did Romeo kill Juliet? Is Jay Gatsby a criminal? Let your students use analysis of concrete details to decide.

Packet comes with clear student instructions, a planning sheet and two assessment rubrics (one for the students and one for the teacher).
