Teach literary elements by referring to stories that kids know and love!
The following elements are included: Setting, Theme, Characters, Climax, Conflict and Resolution.
I've taken the above "literary elements" from the following beloved stories: Finding Nemo, Frozen, Harry Potter, and Toy Story.
There are many ways to use this resource, but here's an example of how I did: print the blank sheet with the literary elements labeled. Print the story you'd like to focus on for teaching. Then assess the students' ability to correctly match each element with its description.
