Product Description
Having a hard time finding a book report format that is different AND appropriate for middle/high school students?!? I was in the same boat, which is why I ended up creating my own. I wanted something a little different than the regular format I have always used. I also wanted something that would keep my kids accountable throughout the entire book - not just when they finish. This format has the reader break the book up in to 3 sections and then has corresponding questions/activities to complete for each section.

The 26 page book report format will guide your students through the reading of their chosen book. Can be used for any fiction work. Includes all of the following elements
- Reading tracker chart for students to track the pages read and keep themselves on track to finish by the due date
- Pre reading questions
- Vocabulary tracker - Students can record any vocabulary words that are interesting, new or ones that have been studied in class
- Theme - Identifying different themes within the story
- Plot Tracker - Identifying the elements of plot
- Era - Using text clues to identify the era this story takes place in
- Character Analysis - Two spots to analyze characters
- Compare and Contrast - Identify similarities and difference between the antagonist and protagonist
- Personal connections - making text to self, text to text and text to wold connections with the story
- Conflict - Identifying the different types of conflict found within the story
- Setting - Drawing an example and giving details
- Writing Prompts - Summaries, alternative ending, questions for the author, recommendations
- Scoring Rubric
