This handout is a review of literary terms found in Suzanne Collins's novel,The Hunger Games. Students write the definition of the term, then using a box of examples from the novel match the term to the example. The terms used are: external conflict, internal conflict, protagonist, antagonist, direct and indirect characterization, simile, metaphor, foreshadowing, flashback, symbolism, situational and verbal irony. This worksheet prepares students for the final exam that's also in my store. The answers are included.
