PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Students must match the literary term (or rhetorical device) with the example or description given. I allow my students to use their phones or dictionaries to look up the definitions of the terms in the word bank. I also like to let them work with a partner because I hear their authentic discussions about the terms and the examples.
Sample from the KEY:
ALLUSION 1. Calling a nurse “Florence Nightengale” or saying “Maybe we should build an ark if it keeps raining!”

ANTONGONIST 2. Lex Luther, T. Ray, Mrs. Havisham, Professor Moriarty, the Joker, Voldemort
