Literature Circles are a great way to keep kids engaged and actively thinking as they read. This activity will give a purpose to students' learning and allow them to have open discussions to better understand the text.
• Students choose their role
• Students read their books silently or aloud with a partner
• Students discuss the book in relation to their role
• Extension – Students may complete a graphic organizer, summarizing the book based on the information they learned
