These discussion prompts help students work in groups independently to meet and discuss assigned reading. They are based off of roles of vocabulary extender, research director, story mapper, literary illuminator, illustrator, and discussion director. All roles are on one sheet for easy printing.
Directions are as follows: Begin from the top of the page, allowing each member of your group to share their work for the reading section. The discussion director should facilitate the discussion and kept it moving and on task.
