Description

This set of 8 Literature Circle jobs will provide you with a wide variety of options from which to choose as you differentiate your reading instruction. Depending on the size of your groups and the areas that you wish your students to focus on, you can use all or only a few of the jobs included in this set. In any case, each of your students will be given an important role in their group. For each job, there is a printable worksheet with detailed instructions and appropriate space (e.g. lines, graphic organizers, charts) provided for the completion of their assigned role. These can be used for almost any novel and, with repeated use, will provide continuity. This will allow your students to contribute meaningfully to group discussions as they build their understanding and mastery of each role.
