These questions were created for my students to fill out as they read the book Sailing for the Gold: Klondike Kid. Students spent two weeks in literature circles and were typically asked to read one chapter out loud together and then read one chapter independently. They follow the same routine each day so they only had to learn the routine one day and were set for two weeks. The questions are self created so they range from text based to inferential questions. My students were expected to answer in complete sentences and could typically finish their daily reading and responding in around 35 minutes.
