This packet includes materials for a four-meeting literature circle focused on developing, asking, and evaluating multiple types of questions. It is the second of a set of six (6) unit packets that make up the skeleton of a senior-level World Literature course. However, the materials and roles may be used at virtually any high school level with minor changes necessary, if any. Pairs well with study of Bloom's Taxonomy.
Packet contains introductory copy, FAQ, sample calendar, grading rubric for written & oral assessment, planning worksheet for student groups, and role descriptions for four different roles: Discussion Director, Motivational Speaker, Inquisitor, and Philosopher.
NOTE: This packet does not include any readings, as they are copyrighted material, so I do not own them or have the rights to distribute them. Roles are intended to be adaptable across a wide range of texts of varying reading levels and genres.
