A simple, easy way to use Literature Circles in your classroom.
One of my all-time favourite Language activities! Literature Circles provide an excellent opportunity for students to dive into great novels and discuss their reading as thinking. For teachers, it provides an excellent opportunity to assess students reading, writing, and oral communication skills as well as provide ample opportunities for anecdotal notes to use to differentiate and personalize report cards.
This is one of the best ways to get to know your students' Language abilities!
