Product Description
This file includes everything you need to organize your students’ materials for successful Literature Circles instruction: posters detailing each role, rules to use with each group, bookmarks for good readers, colored task cards with Bloom’s Taxonomy question stems, gray-scaled task cards aligned with Common Core English/Language Arts (Reading) standards, binder covers, handouts to use for each role, an additional assortment of graphic organizers and extension projects, and a "Work Space" page to be copied as needed.

Directions (for the teacher): Assign weekly reading and allocate roles to each of your students (they will rotate roles the following week). During meetings, act as a facilitator by allowing your students to share their completed assignments and analyze the text they read. Instruct them to use their task cards to guide their discussions. Utilize the additional graphic organizers and extension activities as extra assignments for all students or just early finishers.
